CrossFit a workout based on constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. All CrossFit workouts are based on functional movements, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. Intensity is essential for results and is measurable as work divided by time—or power. By employing a constantly varied approach to training, functional movements and intensity lead to dramatic gains in fitness.
Each CrossFit class is one hour in length and taught by 1-2 coaches. Classes include a warm-up, a skill or strength component, a metabolic conditioning (metcon) workout and a cool-down. You will be coached throughout each portion so you are never on your own. Each workout can be modified to fit your current experience level.
